Departmental Achievements: Pediatrics

1. Number of OPD Patients: 2143 per month (2024)

2. Number of Pediatric Indoor Patients:

   • Pediatric Ward: 185 per month (2024-25 February)

   • Pediatric HDU: 34 per month (2024-25 February)

3. Number of Newborn Babies Admitted in SNCU: 207 per month (2024-25 February)

4. SNCU Development: SNCU was shifted from the ground floor of the MCH building to the second floor, and a new setup was established by upgrading the 20 warmer capacities SNCU to a 30 warmer capacities SNCU.

5. Awards and Recognition: Received Best Performance Award for SNCU online portal entry for the year 2022-2023.

6. District Achievement: Received Best Performing District (Large Category) Maternal Health & Child Health for the year 2023-2024.

7. Neonatal Mortality Reduction: Reduction of neonatal deaths from 96 in 2021-22 to 53 in 2024-2025 (February).

8. SNCU Inspection: Majuli and Dhemaji SNCU inspection by faculties on 24th & 25th June 2024.

9. Significant Survival Case: A baby of 690 gm (ELBW preterm baby) has survived and was discharged from SNCU.
