Central Clinical Laboratory Biochemistry
The laboratory provides 24 x 7 hours services including emergencies.
The following tests are being done in our lab:
Routine Tests: ADA, ALBUMIN, ALP, ALT, AMMONIA, AMYLASE, ASCITIC FLUID, ASO, AST, BETA-HCG, BILIRUBIN & FRACTIONS, BILIRUBIN CONJUGATED, BILIRUBIN TOTAL, BUN UREA, CALCIUM, CHLORIDE, CREATININE, CRP, CSF GLUCOSE, CSF PROTEIN, DIRECT (TIBC), FERRITIN, FREE T3, FREE T4, GGT, GLOBULIN, GLUCOSE FBS (S), GLUCOSE PPBS (S), GLUCOSE RBS, GLYCOSYLATED HB (HbA1c), IRON, IRON PROFILE, KFT, LDH, LFT, LIPASE, LIPID PROFILE, LITHIUM SERUM, MAGNESIUM, NEONATAL BILIRUBIN & FRACTIONS, PHOSPHORUS, PLEURAL FLUIDS, POTASSIUM (K+), PROLACTIN, PROTEIN & FRACTIONS, RF, SERUM ELECTROLYTES (Cl, K+, Na+), SYNOVIAL FLUID, TOTAL CHOLESTEROL, TOTAL PROTEIN (TP), TRIGLYCERIDES (TRIG), TROPONIN-I, TSH, TT3, TT4, UPRO, UREA, URIC ACID, VITAMIN B12, VITAMIN D.
Hormones: FSH, LH, THYROID PROFILE.
Tumour Markers: PSA.
Special Tests: PCT, NT ProBNP, MICRO ALBUMIN, UACR.
Cardiac Marker: CKMB, HS TROP I.
Instruments Available: VITROS 5600, BIO RAD D10, HDC LYTES.
Sample collection/ Sample receiving room: Room No. 61, 1st Floor (Hospital Building).

Tests report: Turnaround time is 2 hours (Emergency) to 24 hours of sample collection.
Report dispatch room: Room No. 27, Ground Floor (Hospital Building).
Quality Control: Daily Internal Quality control and Monthly External Quality control (EQAS Bio-Rad) are being run in CCL Biochemistry Lab.
Training of Para-medical students is conducted regularly.
